You need to secure a statement that your account had at least 800,000 THB balance in it. It must show in your bank statement that the said amount was there 2 months before you filed your Thailand Retirement Visa. If you are receiving a pension of 65,000 THB in a month, this can qualify you as well.
- A medical certificate is required if application will be done outside Thailand while if the visa will be accomplished inside the country, a medical certificate is not anymore needed.
- For a police clearance, the same applies with medical certificate.
Things to Remember:
- The visa is good for a year and allows immigrants to leave and get back whenever they wanted for as long as it is within a year span.
- As an immigrant, you are obliged to visit the Department of Immigration every 90 days to which you need to comply the 90-day report. This is to know your residence to ensure your safety.
